Got this from a blog

Iqbal, a bassist, started out with his love for Malay rock and before National Service, he used to have really long hair and played hardcore metal music. His influences are along that line and I felt inspired when he told the class about his ultimate goal - to change the face of Contemporary Malay Music.
He's also a good friend of Hafiz As'ari, a hip hop rapper, with a great singing voice (like Bob Marley). What I like about Hafiz is his clever lyric-writing skills. He jokes about Malay stereotypes ( Mats & Minahs) - which I personally think is a great way to create some sort of awareness in local youth culture.

Cool right? Hmmm... I love critics! Thanks Nadiah!
